Asbury’s Finest Professors
April 7, 2008
And now, for your Monday viewing pleasure, I present the finest in entertainment, brought to you by some of your favorite Faculty and Staff. Looks like this was filmed in 2002, but haven’t been able to get the back story on it. Any oldtimers want to help shed light on how something this wonderful came into existence?

Younger-timer than you.
Made by Peter Cook.
There’s also a Michael Jackson one. I’ll get my hands on it soon.

Anointed Media Group (that is Media majors in the Anointed class) made a series of these. There’s also a “Smooth Criminal” one.
Peter Cook’s site is petervcook.com. I’m sure you could get the rest of them from him somehow.
As far as I know, he’s still down the street in Wilmore at the Cre8tive Group.

I was in a similar one that Drew Clausing made, also featuring professors dancing, also to the tune of “Bye Bye Bye.”

Hi, wow, not sure how that made it to YouTube. It and other videos are posted on Facebook, including the Michael Jackson one Steve mentioned.

The real credit for these videos goes to Phil Cobb, he shot them and he and I edited them together. They were created for various talent shows on campus during our time at Asbury.

Two thoughts come to mind…
1) White men REALLY can’t dance…
2) Redbook
